Someone answers, even when you can’t. Every day of the year.
I train an AI receptionist on your business to answer the calls you can’t take: at night, on weekends, on holidays, and while you’re on a job. It handles them the way you tell it to, takes no vacations or sick days, and costs $199 a month after setup.
It tells every caller it’s an assistant, takes their details, reads them back, and sends them to you, so you call back the ones that matter.
Maya, my website assistant, answers questions about the Studio. Try her to hear how an AI assistant talks with your customers.
Most AI receptionists have earned their bad name“You’ve reached Lopez Plumbing. I’m Maria, an AI voice assistant. How can I help you?”
“My water heater’s leaking in the garage.”
“I’m sorry to hear that. Please give me your name, address and phone number, and I’ll have someone call you.”
“Dana Ruiz, 14 Oak Street, 512-555-0148.”
“That’s Dana Ruiz, 14 Oak Street, 512-555-0148. Is that right?”
“Yes, that’s right.”
“Thank you for calling. I’ll forward your information to a technician immediately.”

Owners and their customers say the same things about them. Here is what goes wrong, and what I do differently.
It pretends to be a person, and callers feel tricked.
Mine says it’s an assistant at the start of every call, even when it speaks in your voice.
It doesn’t know the business, so it guesses or argues.
Mine is built from your own answers and tested on every question before it takes a real call. When it doesn’t know, it says so and takes a message.
It quotes jobs it can’t price.
Mine quotes only the fixed prices you authorize. If a caller asks about something you haven’t priced, it says so and takes a message.
It gets names and numbers wrong.
Mine reads the caller’s details back to them before the call ends.
The owner is left to set it up, and it never works.
I set it up with you, you test it before it goes live, and I check every call daily for the first week, then monthly.
Support never answers, and the bill keeps rising.
You deal with me directly. One plan, a published price, no contract, cancel any time.
What happens when a call comes in
It picks up when you don’t
Any hour, any day of the year, after the number of rings you choose.
It says it’s an assistant
Callers are told at the start. It can speak in your own voice if you like.
It answers the way you would
I build it to answer the questions you actually get asked, in your own words. It sticks to what you’ve told it.
It takes the details
Name, address and phone number, read back to the caller. Nobody has to repeat themselves when you call back.
It quotes only your prices
Only the fixed prices you authorize. Anything you haven’t priced, or anything outside what you’ve told it, it says so and takes a message instead of guessing.
You get every call’s details
Sent to you straight away, with who called and what they need. You decide who to call back and when.
Trained like a new hire. Monitored every day for the first week, then monthly for as long as you subscribe.
I interview you
About the questions your customers ask and how you want each one handled.
I build and test it
I write what the assistant knows from your answers, then test it on each question.
You test it
Yourself, before it answers a single call.
I keep it right
Every month I read the transcript of every call and correct anything it got wrong or didn’t know.
- Up to 100 calls and 300 minutes a month
- Extra minutes 50 cents each
- Your own voice, at no extra charge
- Daily checks for the first week, monthly after
- Month to month, no contract, cancel any time
- Pay by card through PayPal, or by bank transfer
We go through your missed calls together
I look at two weeks of your phone’s call log with you, count the calls you miss and when they come in, and tell you plainly whether the missed-call assistant is worth it for you. No charge and no obligation.
Fewer questions reach your phone when your website answers them
A lot of calls are people asking your hours, where you work, or roughly what a job costs. If your website answers those, many of them never need to call. My free website check lists the questions your site already answers and the ones customers still have to phone you about, along with how it does on phones, speed, search and the other basics.

Will callers know it isn’t me?
Yes. It tells them at the start of every call, even in your voice.
What if it gets something wrong?
It’s set up to say when it doesn’t know and take a message. I check every call daily for the first week, then every month I read the transcripts of all your calls, make the changes it needs and fill the gaps.
Can it speak in my voice?
Yes, at no extra charge.
Do I keep my phone number?
Yes. Your phone rings first as usual. Calls you don’t pick up after the number of rings you choose are passed to the assistant through your phone company’s call forwarding, which most carriers include. Your customers dial the same number as always.
How soon can it start answering calls?
Usually within a week of our interview. That covers the build, testing it on each of your questions, your own test calls and switching on the forwarding.
What if I get more calls than the plan covers?
Extra minutes are 50 cents each, and nothing else changes without your yes.
Do I have to sign a contract?
No. It’s month to month and you can cancel any time.
Does it answer every call, or only the ones I miss?
It’s up to you. It can be set up to answer only the calls you don’t pick up after a certain number of rings, or all of them.
